Basel, Switzerland Again, Again.

Mittlere Brucke (Bridge over the Rhein River) heading into the old town.

I found myself back in Basel, Switzerland again for work. What do you do when you are familiar with a place yet still want to show it off to the world through your photography? You find yourself asking what else do I want to say about this place? What am I seeing THIS time that I didn't see last time? I've been rather random through the years on how I've approached this in Basel. This time I tried to capture the rhythms of life in Basel. I also wanted to celebrate springtime as well. When I landed in Basel, I saw the first green leaves and flowers I had seen in months. At home everything was just shaking off the eight feet of snow that had landed on it.

I must have walked by this statue a hundred times and never noticed. You can see her overlooking everyone on the top right in the photo above. This day I saw her. There is always something new.

Essential transportation.
